Unique and Natural |
Our products are handcrafted and have a unique, natural, and clean feel to them. They are unique not only because the beeswax and raw honey used in our products come directly from our bee hives, the Queen has developed and tested each product herself!
Why Avocado Oil? Avocados are a staple of the Carpinteria economy, and keeping with the idea of a local company, we just had to use our beloved Avocados!
Natural Vitamin E is used for its anti-oxidant properties as well as the ability to preserve. Afterall, we like to keep it simple and natural.
Some of the products contain Shea Butter, also known as African Karite Butter, which is a smooth and silky feeling skin conditioner. Overtime, Shea Butter, without the addition of a petroleum (or other un-natural) additive, may become fractionate ('grainy') with the addition of heat. Body temperature alone will start this reaction. This 'graininess' does not affect the quality of the products. Should this occur, letting the product warm-up on the fingertips before applying will alleviate this feeling during application.

Technically Speaking |
While some of the technical names for the ingredients sound complicated, the common names are not. Below you will find the technical (INCI) names for each ingredient in the various products.
A few words about the ingredients. The Glycerin is vegetable based, the Vitamin E is natural (not the Acetate version), the glitter... well some of us just like to sparkle a little bit more than others!

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil , Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Beeswax, Honey, Corn Starch, Tocopherol (E), and Glycerin. May also contain the following: Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Raw Honey, and/or Glitter, and/or Pearl Powder.
